Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has tasked members of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Akure South and Akure North Federal Consituency to ensure a resounding victory for the party in the forthcoming bye-election.
Akeredolu threw the challenge while addressing party delegates at the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Arcade in Akure where he earlier charged them on peaceful conduct.
Government House correspondent, Wahab Bankole reports that the Governor who told the delegates that he did not have a preferred candidate said the victory of APC in the bye-election is key to sustaining the impactful governance in the state.
