Ondo Govt evacuates destitutes on Oba Adesida overhead bridge in Akure

Ondo state government says it will no longer condone social misfits littering Akure metropolis with attendant threat to public health and security. Senior Special Assistant to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Special Duties and Strategy, Dr. Doyin Odebowale who led his team to evacuate some of the destitutes in Akure, said the task is imperative to protect law abiding residents from such hoodlums. OSRC’s Juliet Buna reports that government’s action followed complaints by residents on the worrisome activities of the destitutes, especially at night.
