Idoani community in Ose Council area of Ondo State woke up to the news of the murder of a naval rating allegedly by three young but criminally minded boys.
The youngsters simply identified as Oyibo, Francis and Ayo allegedly committed the act over a mere squabble.
Following the dastardly act, Naval officers came to the town requesting that the culprits be fished out. They were civil and orderly and never harassed or brutalized anyone.
The Council of Chiefs led by Olisa engaged the officers in dialogue with the Police also involved. One of the three named Ayo was apprehended and he is already helping the navy in tracking the fleeing duo.
Meanwhile, Idoani community has paid a condolence visit to the Navy Commander and assured him of the cooperation of the community.
The Asiwaju of Idoani, Otunba Oladele Olapeju confirmed that everywhere in the town is uneasily quiet at the moment.
