The Ondo State Chapter of Renewed Hope Ambassadors has commended the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the successful rescue of the pupils and teachers who were abducted by kidnappers in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
In a statement issued by the chapter, the successful rescue operation was described as a significant milestone in the Federal Government’s sustained efforts to strengthen national security and safeguard the lives and property of all Nigerians. According to the chapter, the operation reflects the growing capacity and effectiveness of the country’s security architecture under the Renewed Hope Agenda and reinforces public confidence in the resolve of the Tinubu administration to decisively confront criminality.
The chapter also commended the gallant officers and personnel of the nation’s security agencies for their exceptional professionalism, bravery, intelligence, and unwavering commitment, which culminated in the safe rescue of the victims. It described the operation as a triumph for justice, national security, and the collective determination of the Nigerian people, sending a strong signal that criminal elements will find no safe haven anywhere within the country.
The chapter further commended the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, FCA, for his steadfast support for the Renewed Hope Agenda and his unwavering commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Federal Government in advancing security, good governance, and sustainable development. According to the chapter, the growing synergy between the Federal Government and progressive state governments is yielding tangible results in the fight against insecurity while fostering greater public confidence in the nation’s democratic institutions and security framework.
While congratulating the rescued pupils and teachers, their families, as well as the Government and people of Oyo State, the chapter urged Nigerians to continue supporting the nation’s security agencies by providing timely, credible, and actionable intelligence. It emphasized that overcoming insecurity requires sustained collaboration among government, security institutions, traditional rulers, community leaders, and citizens.
