The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Ondo State Chapter, has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, while expressing total confidence in the leadership of Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, describing him as the unifying and undisputed leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State.
In a statement issued by the organisation, the group said recent political commentaries circulating in some quarters should not be misconstrued as representing the official position of the APC in Ondo State or that of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.
According to the group, Governor Aiyedatiwa has consistently demonstrated inclusive, purposeful and unifying leadership since assuming office, ensuring that all stakeholders are carried along while strengthening the party across the State.
The statement maintained that the Governor neither operates nor encourages political factions within the APC, stressing that his administration remains committed to promoting unity, internal cohesion and collective progress.
“As the duly elected Governor of Ondo State and the undisputed leader of the APC in the State, Governor Aiyedatiwa has continued to strengthen the party’s structures across the eighteen local government areas while mobilising support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election,” the statement said.
The organisation called on party members and supporters to reject narratives capable of creating unnecessary divisions, noting that the overriding responsibility of every progressive is to work collectively towards the continued success of the APC and the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors also addressed comments attributed to Mr. Rasaaq Obe, stating that although every Nigerian has a constitutional right to express personal opinions, such views should not be interpreted as representing the official position of Governor Aiyedatiwa, the APC in Ondo State or the organisation.
The group reaffirmed that its activities remain focused on grassroots mobilisation, voter education, strategic engagement and strengthening the APC’s support base in every ward, polling unit and local government area of Ondo State.
It further commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for what it described as exemplary leadership, sustained commitment to peace, infrastructural development and people-centred governance, adding that his administration continues to complement the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda by delivering policies and programmes that improve the welfare of the people.
The organisation also praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for implementing reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s economy, strengthening national security, expanding infrastructure and laying a solid foundation for sustainable national development.
Expressing optimism about the future of the APC, the group said it remained committed to mobilising support for President Tinubu’s re-election and ensuring that the party records overwhelming victories in future elections.
It reassured members of the APC and supporters of the Renewed Hope Agenda that the party in Ondo State remains united under the leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The statement urged party faithful to remain disciplined, loyal and focused on strengthening the APC, while reaffirming the group’s resolve to support Governor Aiyedatiwa and ensure that Ondo State remains a stronghold of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
