The frontline roles of nurses as the world battles the raging COVID-19 pandemic has again been brought to the fore on the occasion of the 2020 International Nurses Week.
The theme of this year’s celebration: Nurses: A Voice to Lead –Nursing the World to Health, demonstrates how nurses are central to addressing a wide range of health challenges.
Shola Ilesanmi reports that nurses in Ondo state used the celebration to appreciate the state government for the approval of special allowance for health workers amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
