Ondo State governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has underscored the need for Nigerian universities to champion national development. Akeredolu spoke at the combined 2nd and 3rd convocation ceremony of the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo. OSRC’s Joy Pius reports that the event which featured presentation of UNIMED heroes award to distinguished individuals had former governor of Ondo State Dr. Olusegun Mimiko in attendance.
