Over 50 Kano-bound vehicles from Lagos, were apprehended on Wednesday night by the Ondo State Special Taskforce for breaching the dusk to dawn curfew in Ondo state.
The vehicles filled with hundreds of passengers mostly northerners, were apprehended close to the FUTA north gate of the Akure-Ilesa Expressway way following intelligence report that they had overwhelmed the security at the Owena, Osun state Boundary.
Shola Ilesanmi reports that there was however total compliance to the curfew in areas visited in the state capital.
