COVID-19: Why we are reopening our schools on Monday- Ondo Govt

Ondo state government has approved the full reopening of private and public schools from primary to tertiary levels across the state from Monday 19th of October 2020. Chairman of the Interministerial Committee on COVID-19, Professor Adesegun Fatusi who made the announcement a media briefing in Akure, said the reopening followed significant progress in tackling the pandemic in the state. OSRC’s Shola Ilesanmi reports that the Acting Commissioner for Health, Dr Jibayo Adeyeye said all school children must resume with their facemasks.
