The public holiday declared by the Ondo State Government saved scores of children from trauma arising an early morning inferno that razed their school situated opposite the State Ministry of Works on Oyemekun road.
Efforts by the Fire Service to put off the inferno proved abortive as self help by residents and good samaritans around the area yielded minimal results.
