Media professionals in Nigeria have been challenged to raise awareness on tuberculosis, a communicable disease, which has proven to be more deadlier than Covid-19 pandemic.
Director, Advocacy, Communication and Social Mobilization, National Tuberculosis and Leprosy control programme, Mrs Jumoke Adebari who addressed participants during a virtual seminar organized for Journalists in the country said, the programme was to draw attention to the danger of the disease if left untreated early.
