Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, will on Saturday commission a newly completed ultra-modern administrative block at Omoluorogbo Grammar School, Akure, as part of activities marking the institution’s 50th anniversary.
The Governor is also expected to perform the groundbreaking ceremony for two new four-classroom block projects initiated by the school’s alumni association.
The projects form part of a broader legacy infrastructure initiative involving four classroom blocks, designed to improve teaching and learning conditions and address the school’s infrastructural needs.
The commissioning and groundbreaking ceremony will hold at the school premises in Akure on October 31, 2026, during the grand finale of the golden jubilee celebration.
The anniversary, themed “Celebrating Our Legacy, Shaping the Future,” will also feature alumni reunions, mentorship activities, inter-house sports, cultural presentations and the launch of the school’s golden jubilee legacy project.
