Barely six weeks after emerging as the British Prime Minister, liz Truss has resigned from the position.
Her resignation came about six days after she sacked Kwas Kwanteng as the Chief minister of finance of the UK over worsening economic crisis.
Truss who took over from Boris Johnson as on September 6 ,said she would continue to act until a new Prime minister is appointed.
She is the shortest serving UK Prime minister ever.
