Worried by the devastating effect of COVID-19 across the globe, Ondo state government has tasked scientists and researchers in the nation’s tertiary institutions to come up with vaccines against this deadly disease.
The State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Wahab Adegbenro, while receiving 600 bottles of hand sanitiser, dozens of bottles of liquid soaps, and hand-washing basins and buckets produced and donated by Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, AAUA, Ondo state said academics have roles to play in fighting COVID-19.
OSRC TV Reporter, Shola Ilesanmi reports that AAUA Ag. Vice Chancellor, Prof Olugbenga Ige donated the items to support the state government’s fight against COVID-19.
