Ondo State Government has read the riot act to some Muslim leaders in Owo, for flouting the COVID-19 guidelines for religious places of worship.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security, Alhaji Jimoh Dojumo at a meeting with Muslim leaders in Owo, said the government will not tolerate any act of sabotage of the COVID-19 precautionary measures.
Shola Ilesanmi reports that the Chief Imam of Owo, Alhaji Ahmad Aladesawe, reminded the Muslim leaders that Allah frowns at disobedience to constituted authorities.
