The Governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State failed to hold today at the Liberty Stadium, Ibadan.
Though no concrete reason was given for the inability to hold the primary election as scheduled,report however says the exercise was postponed as a result of non-delegates thronging the primary venue.
It was gathered that the state chairman of the party, Isaac Omodewu and aspirants who were present had a meeting where they decided to move the exercise to Friday.
Some of the aspirants present were Senator Teslim Folarin, Oloye Adebayo Adelabu, Dr. Azeez Adeduntan, Engr Akeem Alao and Hon Akeem Agbaje.
State Resident Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Dr. Mutiu Agboke was present at the aborted exercise.
