The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is seeking the support of the media for a successful Ondo governorship election in October.
INEC’s National Commissioner and Chairman Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye at a meeting with media executives in Akure, said the commission is committed to conducting credible governorship election, despite the ravaging impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
OSRC’s Shola Ilesanmi reports that the commision also trained reporters from the print, broadcast and online media on the October election procedures.
