For about eight hours, the founder of Sotitobire Praising Chapel, Prophet Babatunde Alfa, stood in the dock to prove his innocence in the dissapearance of Gold Kolawole in his church last year.
Prophet Alfa told an Ondo State High Court in Akure, presided over by Justice Olusegun Odusola that Gold’s parents did not cooperate with his efforts to use ‘spiritual and physical’ means to find their son.
Shola Ilesanmi reports that the prosecution however faulted claims of the Prophet in the search for the missing boy.
