The push for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 has gained fresh momentum in Ondo State, as the state government pledged to mobilise residents behind the President’s second-term ambition.

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa gave the commitment while receiving members of the President Tinubu 2027 Re-election Support Group in Akure, the state capital.

The governor, represented by his deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami, commended the group for its efforts and assured the delegation that the state would deploy the necessary structures to rally support for the President.

According to the governor, the administration would work to ensure that Ondo people turn out massively for President Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, describing the President’s reforms as steps towards national renewal and development.

The Director-General of the support group, Fola Tinubu, expressed appreciation for the warm reception, saying the group was refining its strategies to secure victory for the President across the country.

Also speaking, the Ondo State Coordinator of the group, Femi Fagbolagun, urged residents to back the President’s re-election bid, insisting that the ongoing reforms require continuity to yield lasting benefits for Nigerians.

The meeting, attended by government officials, political leaders and stakeholders, signals an early start to political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 polls, with Ondo State positioning itself as a key support base for President Tinubu’s second-term project.
