In what seems to be like the biblical rebuilding of the wall of Jerusalem, the People’s Democratic party , PDP says it would make an impressive statement by winning some state and national assembly seats in the 2027 general elections.
The House of Representatives candidate of the party for Akure North/Akure South federal constituency, Babatunde Faro insisted that the PDP remains a traditional political party with genuine sympathizers and will bounce back to reckoning.
Faro, while featuring on Osrc TV Politics-In-Action, though admitted the mistakes of few founding fathers immediately the party lost the 2015 Presidential election, argued that all hope is not lost on bringing it back to life.
In his words , the love being shown by the masses of ondo state at all meetings, road walks and rallies of the party in Akure and othe parts of the state has been impressive.
On rainbow coalition and the support for President Tinubu , Faro who described himself as a loyal party man said no directive has come fro the national readership of the party.
He however applauded President Tinubu on his performance at the macro level of nation’s economy but scored him low on the impacts of his micro reforms on the masses.
On the State front, Faro commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for what he’s doing to reshape the state capital but asked him to double his efforts in justifying the huge allocation accruing to the state every month.
Faro who refused to disclose his strategy to win the Akure North/Akure South seat, boasted that the triumph of the PDP at the polls in Akure division, Ondo South Senatorial district and Akoko house if assembly seats will shock the ruling All Progressives Congress, Apc.
