Ondo State female Judoka , Joy Ilori has won the state her first Gold medal at the ongoing 7th National Youth Games in Asaba
Ilori defeated her Akwa Ibom opponent to in the 36kg Judo bout to win the first Gold for Ondo State.
While the duo of Ojo Funmilayo and Semilore Olatubosun won bronze medal for Ondo State in table tennis female doubles.
The General Manager of the state sports council, Mr Henry Babatunde commended the efforts of the athletes and their coaches for making the state proud.
According to him, we are hopeful for more medals as the national youth games continues.
