The Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Akure has fixed April 2021 for judgement in the petition filled by PDP and its candidate, Eyitayo Jegede against the victory of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in the October 10 poll in Ondo state.
This followed the adoption of final written addresses by petitioners and defense counsels.
OSRC’s Richard Ilesanmi who was at the sitting reports that the tribunal Chairman Justice Abubakar Umar promised to communicate that exact date in April to parties.
