…PCC DG says Governor’s leadership has activated grassroots structures across 203 Wards for Tinubu, all APC candidates

The Director-General of the Ondo State Presidential Campaign Council and State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, has affirmed that the strategic leadership and institutional support being provided by Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa will guarantee a comprehensive victory for the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State in the 2027 general elections.

According to the Chairman of the Media and Strategic Communication Sub-Committee of the Council, Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, Rt. Hon. Olabimtan gave the assurance at the weekend in Akure while dismissing insinuations in some quarters regarding the preparedness of the state PCC.

Olabimtan, Odusola-Stevenson disclosed, described such insinuations as speculative and unfounded, stressing that the Council is structurally, strategically and logistically primed to deliver a resounding victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and all candidates of the APC.

He stated that the recent inauguration of the Ondo State Presidential Campaign Council, under the chairmanship of Governor Aiyedatiwa, has triggered the full activation of the party’s mobilisation architecture across polling units, wards, local government areas and senatorial districts.

Quoting the DG, Odusola-Stevenson said: “The APC remains deeply entrenched in Ondo State as both the dominant political family and the ruling party under a performing Governor. While we enjoy this advantage, we are leaving no stone unturned to secure an emphatic mandate for President Tinubu’s re-election and all our candidates.”

He further noted that according to Olabimtan, the massive turnout recorded at ward meetings held across the 203 wards in the state, with plans in advanced stages for local government and senatorial engagements, is a testament to the effective leadership of Governor Aiyedatiwa.

“The Governor has declared unequivocally that all APC candidates must emerge victorious in Ondo State, and that directive has become our collective operational mandate,” Olabimtan was quoted as saying.

Odusola-Stevenson added that the PCC DG called on party leaders, stakeholders, candidates and independent campaign groups to close ranks and work in unison under the Council’s strategic mantra of ‘One Party, One Message, One Campaign Mobilisation.’

According to him, Olabimtan disclosed that invitations have been extended to all APC candidates in the state for a strategic harmonisation meeting aimed at forging a coordinated campaign blueprint in the overall interest of the party.

He emphasized that the mission of the Council transcends the presidential election, as it is equally committed to securing unprecedented victory margins for APC candidates in the State House of Assembly and National Assembly elections.

“With the structures, support, leadership and funding being provided by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and with the people solidly behind us, our victory across all elective positions in 2027 is assured,” Olabimtan affirmed.
