As PCC Directorate Harmonizes Campaign Strategy at Akeredolu House, Lauds Aiyedatiwa’s Leadership as Historic Charge for Renewed Hope

The Ondo State Directorate of the APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council has declared its irrevocable commitment to deliver total victory for all candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming general elections.

According to the Chairman of the Media and Strategic Communication Subcommittee of the Presidential Campaign Council, All Progressives Congress, Ondo State Chapter, Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, the strategic interface meeting was held on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the APC State Secretariat, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu House, Akure.

Giving insight into the meeting, Odusola-Stevenson said it was convened to review the progress of campaigns across the state, harmonize individual campaign plans, and align all activities with the unified strategy of the party.

He stated that, as contained in the communique issued at the end of the meeting, the Director-General of the PCC, Rt. Hon. Victor Adekanye Olabimtan, congratulated all APC candidates – His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, three Senatorial candidates, nine House of Representatives candidates and twenty-six House of Assembly candidates – on their emergence as flag-bearers.

The Media Chairman disclosed that, according to the communique, the DG reiterated the position of the Leader of the Party in the State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, that the APC in Ondo State is going into the elections as one united family.

As contained in the communique, Olabimtan assured candidates of the party leadership’s resolve to eschew bitterness, misrepresentation and anti-party activities, warning against any form of compromise, stressing that the Directorate holds sacred its mandate to deliver victory for all candidates, commencing with the Presidential and National Assembly elections scheduled for January 16, 2027.

Odusola-Stevenson further referenced the communique where the DG was quoted as saying: “The 2027 election is about the APC and the future of Nigeria under a tested, trusted, focused and dedicated leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to be supported by a robust legislative majority in the National Assembly. There lies the strength of fixing Nigeria!”

He added that, as contained in the communique, the Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council, Hon. Ola Oguntimehin, in his call for a unified campaign, urged all candidates to campaign for all APC candidates at all levels with a single voice and philosophy: One APC! One Election! One Victory! Joy for All!!!

He enjoined them to work as one indivisible team as typified by the party’s logo, the Broom.

According to Odusola-Stevenson, the communique stated that candidates in their presentations highlighted operational challenges and emphasized the need to synchronize campaign plans into a formidable, unified platform for cohesion and prudent management of human and material resources.

He noted that the communique captured the response on behalf of National and State Assembly candidates by Dr. D. I. Kekemeke, former Commissioner, former Secretary to the State Government and immediate past National Vice Chairman (South West) of APC, who thanked the Directorate for the timely interface.

As contained in the communique, Kekemeke commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for his exemplary support, stating: “I have been long enough in the political space of Ondo State. I have witnessed both party administration and governance thus far, and none is comparable to Governor Aiyedatiwa in motivation and consistent engagement with members through stakeholders’ meetings at all levels.”

Odusola-Stevenson also disclosed that, according to the communique, the State Secretary of the APC, Alex Kalejaye, who represented the State Chairman, Hon. Babatunde Kolawole, assured candidates of the inviolable commitment of the party and the Campaign Directorate to the success of all its candidates.

Outlining the resolutions as contained in the communique, the Media Chairman revealed that the meeting resolved to pool human and material resources together to secure resounding victory for President Tinubu and all legislative candidates, and declared that ONDO FOR TINUBU is not mere political sloganeering, but a historic charge to deliver a minimum of One Million votes for President Tinubu and all National Assembly candidates on January 16, 2027.

According to the communique, candidates also agreed to vigorously propagate the landmark achievements of President Tinubu’s administration in Ondo State in the last three and a half years, including the appointment of three Honourable Ministers, two Special Advisers and Managing Directors of Parastatals; the approval and take-off of FUTA Teaching Hospital; the Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo; the approval of the Olokola Deep Seaport in Ilaje; and massive road infrastructure projects including the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway.

The communique, which was e-signed by Rt. Hon. Victor Adekanye Olabimtan, Director-General, and Hon. Ola Oguntimehin, Secretary, Ondo State APC Presidential Campaign Council, further commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for his sustained moral, financial and logistical support and urged all APC members to demonstrate the high sense of Omoluabi when the State hosts the Presidential Campaign Rally at Akure Sports Stadium on November 11, 2026.
