Nigeria Professional Football League – NPFL Clubs have reached agreement for the kickoff date and format for the 2023/2024 league season.
This was part of resolutions at the NPFL board consultative forum with club owners on Thursday August 3 in Abuja.
As confirmed at the meeting, the format will be a full season for all 20 teams as against the abridged league in the 2022/2023 season.
Enyimba International FC are current champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League, and will do battle with 19-others for the title.
The games will be streamed live on a proposed NPFL live app for viewers around the World.
As earlier announced, the prize money for the League winner has been increased from 100m to 150m for the 2023/2024 season
