Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Sunday failed
again to beat Zimbabwe in the World Cup qualifiers as they forced the host to a 1-1 draw to make their journey more difficult in the series.
Walter Musona had opened the scoring for Zimbabwe in the 26th minute with the strong hope of winning the match after dominating the midfield from the beginning of the match.
But Kelechi Iheanacho fought back to rescue Nigeria from another embarrassing defeat in the 67th minute of the match.
Lesotho also came to Abuja to snatch a point out of their meeting with Nigeria on Thursday.
