The final of the fifth edition of Akogun annual football competition will come up, on Friday, August 4, 2023.
The competition has been an avenue for discovering raw talents for soccer development in Ondo State, especially in Akoko land.
According to the organiser of the tournament and a former member of Ondo State House of Assembly, Akogun Gbenga Omole, the fifth edition of the tournament will be feature an ex super eagles captain and goalkeeper, Peter Rufai.
Twenty clubs are participating in this year’s edition with the grand finale billed for Ojomirin High School, Oka-Akoko by 4pm.
