AAUA football team defeat UNILAG counterpart, advance to Semi-final of Higher Institutions league

The football team of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) luminaries are through to the Semi final of the 2021 Higher Institution Football League season, thanks to a 1-0 aggregate win over UNILAG Marines in the quarterfinals. OSRC’s Samuel Adewunmi reports that the  team’s captain Omotayo Adekimoye netted the only goal in the second half of the encounter from the penalty spot to ensure they continue their historic run in this year’s competition.
