The Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu said the state is ready to pilot the controlled cultivation of cannabis for medicinal purposes in the country.
Akeredolu who spoke at the 2021 National Scientific Conference of the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria in Abeokuta, Ogun State, said his government will also champion the ‘green oil’ revolution.
Government House correspondent, Wahab Bankole reports that the Governor charged pharmacists in the country to embark on researches into the use of cannabis for medicinal purposes for the country to reap it’s huge financial gain.
