The Ondo State chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Students shut down activities in some parts of Akure the state capital in protest against the ongoing Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU strike. According to the Association, the peaceful protest is a warning to the federal government in line with a directive from NANS national headquarters.
