Fire raze building in Akure market as occupants attend church service

An early morning inferno has destroyed a building housing two shops and room apartment at Oja Oshodi in Akure the Ondo State capital. The fire incident was discovered late as all occupants had gone for morning church service to usher in the new month. OSRC’s Bisola Aluko reports that efforts to put out the fire was thwarted as the men of the Fire service gained late access to the area.
