As the Ondo State government begins process of returning some public schools to faith based organizations, the Muslim community has disagreed with the decision.
Addressing newsmen in Akure, Chairman, Ondo State League of Imams and Alfas, Sheikh Ahmad Aladesawe described such step as injurious to the development of education in the state.
OSRC’s Kunle Ariyo reports that the state government had initiated the plan and concluded arrangements to that effect with relevant stakeholders before the final stage of implementation.
