ASUU strike: Ondo Public Varsity students call for investigation into soldiers’ shooting

Student leadership in Ondo State has given the Nigerian Army a 48-hour ultimatum to expose and investigate their officers behind Tuesday’s sporadic shooting at the protest site in Akure. The peaceful protest by public university students in the state against the protracted ASUU strike was disrupted by the soldiers. OSRC’s Zaheed Aribisala reports that despite what appeared to be a setback, the students returned to the protest site for the third straight day.
