Ahead of the 2023 general elections, delegates of All Progressives Congress in Akure South Constituency 1 have chosen Mr. Toluwani Borokini to fly the flag of the party in the Ondo State House of Assembly election holding next year.
The chairman who coordinated the election, Babayemi Kayode declared Mr Borokini the winner during the party’s primary held at Sijuade area in Akure.
Toluwani Borokini had 16 votes to emerge the winner of the primary while other aspirants who include Wale Oke had 5 votes, Stephen Olatunde 2 votes.
Vincent Oyetunde, Oluwatosin Jimoh, Olabanji Akinyele and Bosun Ogunleye had no vote.
