An Ex-Commissioner in Ondo State and son of a former governor, Chief Adebayo Adefarati, Adegboyega has won the APC ticket for the Akoko South/ Akoko North Federal Constituency.
Adegboyega Adefarati polled 95,to defeat the incumbent Lawmaker at the Green Chamber, Ade Adeogun and 3 other aspirants .
In the election which feelers say was peaceful, a former Special Adviser to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Victor Ategbole,scored 6, Stephen Adeyeri 3,while the incumbent, Ade Adeogun had 2 votes and another aspirant,John Adaneken had 1.
