The Minister of State for Niger Delta affairs Tayo Alasoadura has lost the ticket of the All Progressives Congress APC to represent ondo central senatorial district at the national assembly.
Alasoadura, a former senator was defeated by Adegbonmire who polled 144 to 90 votes.
Another aspirant, Tola Awosika garnered 44 votes and Akinpelumi 45 .
The ondo central senatorial district seat is presently occupied by Ayo Akinyelure who has equally lost the return ticket under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
