The Nigerian labour Congress is currently protesting the lingering ASUU strike which has paralyzed academic activities in all public universities for months.
The arm of the union in ondo state was joined by other interested members of the public matching and chanting solidarity songs.
Speakers took turn to address the crowd on the essence of the protest with a charge to the Federal government to save the nation’s university education from collapse.
They sought timely understanding between the Leadership of Academic Staff Union of Universities and representatives of the Federal government to end the strike and get the students back to their campuses.
