The need for advocacy and screening for early presentation and diagnosis of breast cancer to reduce its mortality rate in the country has again been brought to the fore
These were the issues addressed at the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of Breast Cancer Association of Nigeria and also the 4th International Breast Cancer Symposium.
OSRC’s Oluseye Akinwalere reports that the event which had dignitaries, royalty, BRECAN members, secondary school students, and BEMORE girls had as its theme “Closing the data Gap for Precision Cancer Control in Nigeria”.
