PRESS STATEMENT
Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN, CON, has approved the appointment of Dr. Joseph Igbekele Aremo as the new Chairman of Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC).
Equally, the Governor approved the reappointment of members of the Commission. They are as follows:
i. Dr. Soji Omowole
ii. Oladele Akinyelure, Esq.
iii. Mr. Adeleye Olatunde Adeniyi
iv. Mrs. Stella Omotoso
v. Mr. Rotimi Olorunfemi
vi. Dr. Ibraheem Tajudeen Ojo
Their names have been forwarded to the State House of Assembly for clearance and confirmation.
The Governor urged the lawmakers to give timely consideration and approval to his request.
