Ondo State Acting Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa led other members of the State Executive Council to the 7th Day (Ije )burial activities of late Chief Williams Abegunde Fagbegi, father of former Secretary to Ondo State Government, Hon Ifedayo Abegunde, (Abena), held at the deceased’s residence at Ondo road, Akure on Tuesday.
The late Williams Abegunde Fagbegi died on June 20, in Akure.
Aiyedatiwa said the death of a loved one is usually a painful episode in ones lives, because it is irreparable, but we must always take solace in God whom we can never question.
The Acting Governor then prayed God to grant the children and other loved ones of the deceased, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He was accompanied to the event by Chief of Staff to Governor, Chief Olugbenga Ale, Head of Service, Pastor Kayode Ogundele and some State Executive Council members.
