The secretariat of Ondo East Local Government Area at Bolorunduro has been razed by an overnight fire.
The incident whose cause is yet to be unravelled happened very early on Thursday morning and destroyed the administrative block of the secretariat.
The affected offices include those of the local government chairman, the vice chairman, the treasurer, Head of Local Government Administration and other offices which are on the upper floor of the administrative block.
Chairman of the Local Government, Akinkuotu Olawale said that though the cause of the inferno has not been ascertained, he suspected sabotage.
NULGE chairman in the area, Sola Akinrinlola sought the assistance oof the state government and well-meaning people to help rebuild the offices so that work will not stop.
