The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has described the return of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to work, after his medical leave as a rare and commendable commitment to the mandate of the people of the State.
The Deputy Governor said in a statement when he led members of the State Executive Council to welcome Governor Akeredolu in Ibadan on his return to Nigeria from Germany where he had gone on medical leave.
Aiyedatiwa, who had acted as Governor while Akeredolu was away said Akeredolu, even while away, was in constant touch, which shows his concerns for the welfare of the people.
The Deputy Governor acknowledged the prayers of the people for Akeredolu in the last three months, thanking them for showing their love .
He prayed that God Almighty will continue to protect, guide and grant the governor strength as he continues to lead the people towards transformational development.
