OSRC Chairman celebrates Staff on harvest of laurels at Ondo NUJ Press Week

The Chairman and Chief Executive, Ondo State Radiovision Corporation, OSRC, media group, Mr. Kunle Adebayo has congratulated five members of staff of the corporation who won laurels from different categories during the just concluded 2024 Press Week of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ondo State Council.

OSRC TV’s Sunday Kolawole, won the best Newscaster of the year, a recognition of his dexterity and fluent delivery of news, Tolulope Oyebode, bagged the best Producer of the Year award following the creativity and organisation he immersed into the production of the OSRC TV current affairs programme (The Tracker), Zaheed Aribisala was recognised as the Best Political Reporter of the Year, an honour alluding to his brilliant delivery of balanced political stories, which had set the tone for political alertness and public awareness, Gbenga Oluwajana received the best Sports Reporter of the Year award for his in-depth and detailed reportage of sporting activities across the globe, Orange FM’s Olumide Adeluwoye also bagged Broadcast Journalist of the year (Radio Category) for his consistent and quality delivery of news reports on radio.

Mr. Adebayo, while celebrating the awardees, highlighted their immense contributions to the professionalism that OSRC media group is widely known for, urging them to keep the flag flying.

The Chairman assured them that the corporation would continue to support them and other members of staff to always be the best in all they do. “Let me encourage you all that as a responsible corporation, OSRC remains committed to staff professional growth and development and I am particularly happy that you have made us proud by this consistent success you have been recording annually. I am personally proud of you all.”

He urged all members of staff not to relent efforts at being better than their latest achievements.
