Flooding: Many rendered homeless in Akure after late night downpour

Residents of Eyinala Ayedun Quarters in Akure, are still counting their losses to a late night downpour that wrecked havoc in the area.

Scores of people have also been rendered homeless following the flood that submerged over 45 houses.

OSRC TV’s Kunle Ariyo reports that indiscriminate dumping of refuse and non-dredging of the Ala river was responsible for the flood.
