President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN in the October 10, 2020 governorship election will win clearly and be returned for second term.
The President has therefore urged the leaders and members of the party to work diligently and ensure fairness in the electoral processes.
Buhari after presenting the party’s flag to akeredolu at the Presidential Villa pointed out that the victory had been made easier with the reconciliation process in the state chapter of the party.
While assuring Akeredolu of the party’s full support, the President said a peaceful and fair election that reflects the will of the people should be the priority of all stakeholders.
