The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has presented Certificate of Return to winner of Saturday’s election in Ondo state, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and the Deputy Governor-elect, lucky Aiyedatiwa.
INEC Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu who was represented by the National Commissioner in Charge of Ondo, Ogun and Lagos states, Dr Adekunle Ogunmola presented the Certificate to the governor-elect and his deputy at the Commission’s headquarter in Akure.
OSRC’s Shola Ilesanmi reports that the INEC boss promised that the commission will continue to reinvent itself to deepen the nation’s democracy.
