Sotitobire: Prophet Alfa faults Justice Odusola’s judgement, asks Appeal Court to set him free

The founder of Sotitobire Praising Chapel, Prophet Babatunde Alfa has asked the Appeal Court in Akure to quash the High Court judgement that sent him to jail. Prophet Alfa was imprisoned last October for complicity in the disappearance of one year old Gold Kolawole in his church in November 2019 during a Sunday service. OSRC’s Shola Ilesanmi reports that the cleric’s counsel, Gboyega Awomolo SAN got the nod of Justice Rita Nosakhare Pemu led panel to file three applications which among others questioned the validity of the DSS’s investigation and jurisdiction of the lower court to hear the case.
