Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has been Sworn in as the substantive governor of Ondo State in line with the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended.
This follows the passing of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Wednesday, 27th December, 2023 after a protracted illness.
Aiyedatiwa who expressed sadness over the untimely death of his principal, described the event as unfortunate.
He promised to sustain the impactful governance of his predecessor in a bid to promote overall development of the state.
