Akeredolu, Fayemi others meet Miyetti Allah leaders in Akure




A meeting of Southwest Governors with the National leadership of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Bssociation of Nigeria, MACBAN is ongoing at the Dome In Akure, Ondo state capital.

At the meeting is the host, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, his counterparts from Ekiti, Kayode Fayemi, Oyo, Seyi Makinde, and Osun, Gboyega Oyetola.

At present are the Governors Jigawa, Abubukar Badru and Kebbi, Abubarkar Atiku Bagudu as well as Southwest and National leaders of Miyetti Allah led by the president, Mohammadu kirowa.

Two AIGs, Olufemi Agunbiade and Issac Akinboyede also led top security chiefs to the meeting including heads of the DSS, NSCDC, and Amotekun Corps in the State.

To meeting is not unconnected with the recent ultimatum by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to illegal herders to vacate the forest reserves in Ondo state.

The directive whose’s ultimatum expired yesterday is sequel to criminal activities traced to herder living in the forests.

Expected to profer a permanent solution to Herdsmen, farmers crisis are the governors, security chiefs, leadership of MACBAN whiich will culminate in a resolution.
