Akeredolu’s wife advocates gender mainstreaming for sustainable development

For Nigeria to achieve sustainable development, there is the need for gender mainstreaming to foster peace, equity and fairness in society. This was the argument wife of Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, wife of Ondo state governor, at a town hall meeting tagged ‘’Ada Owere Speaks” held in Owerri, Imo state where she maintained that such policy will respond more effectively to the needs of citizens. Government House correspondent, Omorinola Hungbeji reports that the event with the theme, “Disruptive thinking: an inevitable panacea for sustainable development” was graced by the acting governor of ondo state, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
